Hulkkuffs® is organizing the Handcuffs Picking Competition.
Enthusiasts from all walks of life are invited to attend.

The competition is scheduled to take place in Toronto, New York, Tokyo and Berlin.

September 26, Saturday, 2026.

April 24, Saturday, 2027.

A detailed schedule will be forward to each participant after the registration is completed.

What you get in return for your registration

If you attend the competition event in person, you will get:
1), a souvenir: a CNC machined aluminum souvenir medal.
2), and a pair of modernized handcuffs: (a latest vision, fully functional professional handcuffs).
3), or, the final winner: an unique winner’s medal and a grand prize $10,000 (US dollars) in cash.

Registration, Cancellation or not Show Up

1), if the event sells out, or re-scheduled, a waiting list will be formed, individuals on the waiting list will be contacted as space becomes available due to cancellations, or be scheduled to next competition.
2), in case individuals fail to attend a competition event, the fee will be automatically rolled over to next one.
3), if a participant cancels the registration, or for any reason not shows up at the event, a pair of fully functional handcuffs will be mailed to the address in the registration form. No refund at present.

Registration and fees:
The competition registration fee is $199 US dollars.
Hulkkuffs® supplies drinks in the event.
*** Travel, accommodations and meals are not covered.

Handcuffs Picking Competition and Rules

1), in the opening of handcuffs, the competitors are trying to open the handcuffs supplied by Hulkkuffs®, using any non-destructive methods or tools, within a time limit of 5 minutes for each handcuff.

2), competitors are randomly assigned in groups.
3), the handcuffs are cuffed on an opponent’s wrists during the challenging.
4), the first part of the competition is a qualifier round: the competitors must open their locks in 5 minutes; otherwise, they are not qualified.
5), from the qualifiers, competitors advance to the second part of competition (finals) : the number of opened locks in 20 minuets.
6), if two or more competitors are scored the best or at same points, they have to compete in a additional round(s) to decide a single final winner (the number of opened locks in 20 minuets, too).

7), a final award $10,000 USD is rewarded to the final winner.
8), within the competition, the results are evaluated separately according to valid rules; the observance is supervised by the participants.
9), for fair competition, pre-assembled keys or tools are not allowed, the competitors can make simple gears using available tools and materials on the scene ( steel wires, paper clips, metal sheets, pliers, scissors, knives, ..will be supplied.)
